Shipping Info
Our goal is to get you your cards as quickly & accurately as possible! Here's what you can expect when ordering from Dark Fox TCG:
1. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are automatically generated using real-time data on delivery dates & charges. This costs will vary depending on how heavy your items are and where you live. Generally, Ontario customers should expect $10-$15 delivery charges for large or tracked orders and $3-$5 for smaller orders of just singles. Other provinces will have the same price for small singles orders, but tracked will be $15-$25 generally.
If you purchase over $20 you will see an option for Free Bubble Mailer shipping within Canada, and if you purchase over $150 you'll qualify for Free Tracked Shipping within USA and Canada. Free Bubble Mailer shipping is ONLY available for orders of less than 30 cards, and for singles only. Please do not select this option if you have more than 30 cards or any accessories/ sealed product as it will be too thick to be sent as a Bubble Mailer.
Any free shipping offers are subject to review. Large packages or remote locations are subject to review before order is approved. Should charges need to be made: Dark Fox TCG will review those changes with the customer before processing the order. When free shipping is used Dark Fox TCG reserves the right to choose whichever courier they deem fit.
2. Processing Times
Orders generally take 1-2 business days to pick and ship. Please keep an eye on your e-mail as we may try to contact you if there is an issue delaying your order. Once your order is marked as "Fulfilled/Shipped" it will be sent out the same or next business day. Orders placed on Friday are generally shipped on Sunday, where pickup by couriers occurs the following Monday or Tuesday, depending on each couriers' pickup time constraints.
If you require your order quicker for any reason e-mail us at support@darkfoxtcg.com and we will try our best to accommodate your request. Orders shipped via UPS will be prioritized as we have daily UPS pickup at 5pm.
Bubble mailer/plain white envelope orders generally arrive within 2 weeks, but occasional packages have taken up to 1 month to arrive. Be sure to double check your mailing address when placing your order as our package labels are automatically created with the information you provide.
If you need your order to arrive quickly, please use a courier shipping option such as UPS or FedEx. These packages are picked up every other day and generally arrive 2-3 business days days after pickup.
Same-day or next-day shipping options by the couriers only guarantee such once the order is picked up by the courier and does not reflect on our order picking times in-house. Order picking times may still take up to 2 business days.
3. Order Changes
If you need to change the address, combine orders, delay an order shipment date or change the contents of your order please e-mail us at support@darkfoxtcg.com
While we do our best to accommodate requests, if an order has already started fulfilment we may not be able to make changes. Orders paid for via PayPal are not eligible for address changes due to PayPal's policies.
4. Lost/Stolen Packages
Dark Fox TCG is not responsible for lost or stolen packages. For added security, we offer free tracked shipping for large orders over $150 (before taxes and after discounts) and encourage customers to select tracked shipping on any order they would like insurance on. For your convenience, there is an option during checkout that is automatically toggled to add optional shipping insurance to your order through ShipInsure. Simply deselect the toggle if you are picking your order up in store or otherwise would not like to purchase additional insurance. We can only refund customers for lost packages if the shipping method they chose includes insurance, such as tracked shipping, XPresspost, UPS, or if you selected ShipInsure insurance coverage during checkout. We cannot offer refunds for plain white envelope shipping nor bubble mailer shipping and by choosing either of these options, you agree to these terms. If insurance is available for your package through the shipping method you selected or through ShipInsure, we will open a claim on your behalf, and once the claim is approved and the carrier refunds us, we will refund your lost package. Generally this can take up to 1 month to process, and may take longer depending on outstanding factors beyond our control. Carriers will not process claims for items labelled Delivered & Dark Fox TCG is not responsible for theft of these items.
5. Incorrect Items Sent
For orders sent with incorrect items or incorrect conditions, please contact us at support@darkfoxtcg.com
We value your decision to entrust us with your cardboard needs and we will do everything we can to ensure you receive the cards you have paid for. We generally do not guarantee flawless cards nor do we ever guarantee any card will "grade" a certain way through any authentication/grading service. We guarantee all cards sold are authentic and original copies from the original manufacturer of the product. Please note we use TCGPlayer's guide on conditioning cards when uploading them to the website. This allows for minor imperfections on Near Mint cards such as a few dots of whiting or light scratching not leaving a dent. If your Near Mint card arrives with creases, water damage, scratching which leaves a dent, impressions, several nicks, wear on all corners or edges or dramatic wax wear please message us to solve this error. 6. Picking Up Your Order
Orders placed for In Store Pickup will be picked within 48 hours. Please do not call or message the store asking to pick up your order if you have not received the Pickup Notification. With over 100 orders placed a day, it is not always possible for us to accommodate immediate pickups of large card orders. Paid orders will be held for 60 days before being canceled and returned to stock.
7. Using Store Credit Online (Gift Cards)
When trading cards in to our store or receiving prizing for an event through store credit, we will issue you a Shopify gift card that can be used at darkfoxtcg.com. This method is used in lieu of "store credit". To use this gift card online, simply open the email or text you received from us for your gift card, copy the 16-digit code and paste it in the "discount code" box at checkout before finalizing your order. You will be able to view your balance and access this code at all times using the link provided in that text/email.
8. Sales Tax
Sales tax will be applied based on your Province within Canada. Generally, sales tax is not applied to orders placed outside of Canada.
9. Damaged Items
If your parcel arrives damaged, please email us at support@darkfoxtcg.com. Please note that sealed product with damage to the box but not to the product contained inside it will not be eligible for refunds. Products with ripped shrink wrap or corner damage on the box will not be considered "damaged" for purposes of a refund, as the manufacturers consider packaging to be disposable and will only offer us refunds on those items if the items inside are damaged.
10. Returns & Exchanges
Returns are available on items within 7 days & exchanges within 30 days. All items must be in their original packaging with shrink wrap intact to be eligible for a return. For shipped items, this date will be increased by 7 days to account for shipment time. Returns and exchanges are not available on TCG sealed product or singles due to the volatile nature of the collectibles market (booster boxes/elite trainer boxes/bundles/collection boxes, singles, etc.).
12. Product Availability
If your order contains items not in stock and we refund you below the threshold for free tracked shipping, we will honour the original shipping method chosen at checkout. If you wish to adjust your shipping method to a lesser expensive option based on this information and you would be eligible for a refund, you will receive that refund to your original payment method used at checkout. We must be made aware that is it your intent to adjust your shipping method in these cases, otherwise we will use the original shipping method selected at checkout.
